Development is a basic responsibility of Government, especially when it comes to the "poorest of the poor".  This is guided by legislation and policies for which the RDP provided a framework. 

 

 

NWGA Training and Development Program

The NWGA has identified various challenges in cooperation with communal wool sheep producers and initiated a focused Wool Sheep Training and Development Program in 1997 to address these challenges.

KOMMERSIALISERING VAN KOMMUNALE WOLSKAAPPRODUKSIE 

Die Nasionale Wolkwekersvereniging van SA (NWKV) het in 1997 'n gefokusde Wolskaap opleiding- en ontwikkelingsprogram bekendgestel om die uitdagings van kommunale wolboere te hanteer.

Die program fokus op die volgende:  Die organisering van wolskaapprodusente in wolkwekersverenigings (WKV's) om hul wol gesamentlik te oes, klas en te verpak (wat hulle in staat stel om toegang tot die formele wolmark te hê); opleiding en mentorskap ; markgereedheid en -toegang ; die genetiese verbetering van kommunale kuddes en infrastruktuurontwikkeling.
